This site is good for people around my age or older. It is good in the sense that they have tips on how to reduce your carbon footprint on the Earth.
My carbon footprint is 5.77 Earths.
To reduce my footprint by personal means, I can begin to buy more organic or recycled clothing. I could also try to use more Earth friendly chemicals when cleaning. One last thing is to use less energy by doing things like drying clothes outside.
To reduce my footprint by school means, I can talk to the principle and ask for assistance on setting up more recycling stations around the school. Also, I can set up meetings or posters about doing more to recycle and clean up our school. Lastly, I can help schedule times of the day where we can turn off lights in the school to save energy
To reduce my footprint by community means, I can host town meetings about cleaning up our community. Also I can work with our towns government to create more recycling plants and recycling bins around the area. Lastly, I can try to get approval of building electric generating dams from our river.
How this relates to our project is that with our project, we can create more efficient and cleaner energy resources. With our project, it will reduce the impact of fossil fuels ruining our Earth. The biggest impact on our Earth is pollution from things like coal and natural gas. If our generator works with hydrogen, then we can use that technology to create things like hydrogen cars and so forth. With this technology, the impact from the pollution will fall greatly.
